MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Alabama State University head men's basketball coach Tony Madlock has announced nine newcomers to the 2025-26 roster. Tyler Byrd, Damarien Yates, Trey Miller, Damarion Bonds, Damien Cox, Jr., Tyler Mason, Asjon Anderson, R'Chaun King and Cameron Palesse have signed to continue their playing careers with the Alabama State men's basketball program.
"We are really excited about this 2025 recruiting class," Madlock said. "My staff did an outstanding job of identifying and signing a good group of student athletes that will represent ASU well. With this new climate in collegiate athletics, and having to assemble a new team, we think this group has a chance to help continue to move our basketball program in the right direction. This class consists of nine newcomers, which includes division one transfers, junior college transfers, and one high school signee. This is a very versatile group that gives us an opportunity to compete at the highest level."
