NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Alabama State volleyball wrapped up its weekend road trip with a straight-set loss to Tulane (25-15, 25-13, 25-20) on Saturday afternoon inside Avron B. Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse.
The Hornets showed stretches of fight but couldn't overcome Tulane's offensive efficiency, as the Green Wave (8-3) hit .375 as a team and controlled the match from start to finish.
Alabama State was led offensively by Jyriah Morgan (5 kills) and Camille Holloway (4 kills) who hit .273. Brooke Adams anchored the back row with 10 digs. Kamrynn Clay added 12 assists and seven digs, while Sierra Scanlan had 11 assists and three digs.
ASU returns to action on Sunday when they face New Orleans iat noon n the final match of the Pelican Invitational.
