MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama State University women's soccer game between the Hornets and the Grambling State Tigers – originally scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. – has been pushed 24 hours to Monday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. at the ASU Soccer Complex.
The game will remain on SWAC TV, with more information being available at bamastatesports.com.
The change comes in the wake of Hurricane Isaias, which brought weather into the River Region despite weakening to a post-tropical cyclone before entering the area. The safety and well-being of Hornet Nation remain our highest priority. University officials are closely monitoring weather conditions and will continue to assess any potential impacts. Additional updates will be shared as information becomes available.
Even as effects of the storm have passed, we encourage all students, alumni, supporters and community members to follow Alabama State University's official communication channels and social media platforms for the latest information.
