BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama State University; El Roux and Loris Gueli were named the SWAC Men's Tennis Player and Newcomer of the Week on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026.

Gueli clinched the win on singles court six for Hornets versus Alcorn State.
 
El Roux teamed with Milan Ristov at No. 3 doubles to help clinch the doubles point at No. 3 and captured a No. 4 singles in a 4-0 win over Alcorn State.
