Alabama State Men’s Tennis Lands Four on 2026 All-SWAC Teams

MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State University men's tennis placed four student-athletes on the 2026 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) All-Conference teams, the league office announced Thursday at its annual awards ceremony held prior to the SWAC Tennis Championships.

The Hornets were represented across multiple singles positions, highlighting the program's depth and consistency during the 2026 campaign.

Flor De Sitter earned Second Team All-SWAC honors at No. 2 singles competing primarily in the top half of the lineup.

Eloi Roux was named Second Team All-SWAC at No. 4 singles, finishing the year with a 5-5 overall and 2-1 in conference matche. Roux was also a key contributor in doubles, where he turned in an impressive 11-2 overall record, including a standout 10-1 mark alongside partner Milan Ristov.

Vid Maric collected Second -eam All-SWAC recognition at No. 5 singles after going 4-3 and 6-5 overall in dual play, Maric recorded a 7-7 overall record, including time on multiple doubles courts throughout the season.

Loris Gueli rounded out Alabama State's honorees, earning Second-Team All-SWAC at No. 6 singles. Gueli led the Hornets in singles victories, finishing 8-5 overall.

As a team, Alabama State finished the regular season with a 7-9 overall record and a strong 4-1 mark in SWAC play, positioning itself the No. 2 seed in the SWAC.

The Hornets begin their quest for a ninth straight and 10th overall SWAC Men's Tennis crown on Saturday at 2 p.m. ASU awaits the winner of Jackson State and Alcorn State.
