Daedrian Beville Becomes First Female Jumper in School History to Earn Second Team All-American Honors

EUGENE, Ore. — Alabama State freshman Daedrian Beville competed at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, representing the Hornets in the women's triple jump at historic Hayward Field.
Beville recorded a mark of 13.19 meters (43 feet, 3¼ inches) on her opening attempt, finishing first in Flight 1.
The appearance marked Beville's first NCAA Outdoor Championships appearance during her freshman season. The Alabama State standout earned her spot among the nation's top triple jumpers after a strong 2026 outdoor campaign that saw her continue to establish herself as one of the premier young athletes in collegiate track & field.
Beville's performance in Eugene added another milestone to a historic freshman season as she represented Alabama State on the national stage.
