CAREY, N.C. | Alabama State University catcher Trey Callaway has received an inviation to the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp on June 27-July 4 at the USA Training Facility in Carey, North Carolina.  

Callaway joins a growing list of Hornets invited to the USA CNT training camp, adding to a list that includes Omar Malendez (P), Jamal George (C) and Juan Cruz (1B).

The Conyers, Ga., native garnered All-SWAC Second-Team honors and will participate in the MLB Swingman Classic during the All-Star week in Philadelphia, Pa. Callaway tied the Hornets' single-season home runs record with a SWAC-high 17 home runs while driving in 47 RBI with a .584 slugging percentage over 50 games. He also had two doubles, a triple, three steals, and scored 37 runs while batting .275.
