ASU Softball Heads to Mississippi Valley State
Montgomery, Ala. – The Alabama State softball team heads to Itta Bena, Miss. to challenge Mississippi Valley State for a three game series.
The series gets underway Friday with a single game that starts at 5 p.m. and a double-header on Saturday that begins at 1 p.m.
ASU (8-25, 4-7) is out to break a six game losing streak. This weekend's series is pivotal in terms of qualifying for the SWAC Softball tournament next month. With six games left, the lady Hornets currently hold the fourth place slot in the eastern division.
