Softball Heads to Jackson

Montgomery, Ala. – The Alabama State softball team heads to Jackson Miss this weekend for a three-game series at Jackson State at the Jackson State University Softball Stadium.  Game times for the weekend are 6 p.m. on Friday and a double-header on Saturday that begins at noon.

ASU enters the slate of games with an overall record of 8-20 and a 4-4 Southwestern Athletic Conference mark.  JSU is 12-19 overall and 5-3 in the SWAC.  The lady Tigers are also ranked second in the conference meanwhile the lady Hornets slipped to the sixth spot in the league.

Stephanie Hernandez will take the mound for ASU.
