Softball Swept at Jackson

Jackson, Miss. – The Alabama State softball team got swept during its weekend series with Jackson State.  ASU fell to JSU 9-1 in the first of a double-header and 15-4 in the finale. 

The loss drops the Lady Hornets to 8-25 overall and 4-5 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.  Meanwhile, the Lady Tigers improved to 15-19 and 8-3 in the SWAC.

ASU will play its second consecutive road series when they travel to Mississippi Valley State next weekend. First pitch Friday is set for 5 pm.
