Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference named 3B/1B Sosefina Toilolo SWAC Player of the Week on Tuesday, March 27.
 
Toilolo, a San Bernardino, Calif. native went 12-for-15 at the plate, including four doubles, four runs, and 16 RBI. She had a 1.067 slugging percentage, a .813 on base percentage and a .800 batting average over the past weekend. In her first 27 games, she was batting .273 but raised her average to .359 on the season.
 
Sosefina's weekend was highlighted during the game against Grambling, going 4-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored. In the matchup against Texas Southern, Toilolo recorded two bases loaded doubles to right center, clearing the bases with both hits.
 
It is her first SWAC Player of the Week award. Sosefina is also the first SWAC Player of the Week recipient for the 2012 Softball Season.  
 
Alabama State will continue conference play when they travel to Huntsville, Ala. Friday, March 30 to face in-state rival Alabama A&M at Bulldog Field in a three-game series. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
