Bailey Patt during game one.
The Blazers recorded runs in the first, second, third, and sixth innings.
The Lady Hornets were shutout by the Blazers in the second game.
Destyni Valencia pitched an inning, giving up two runs on three hits; while
Bailey Patt went six innings, giving up only six hits and two earned runs.
“We didn't play to our best ability today against the Blazers,” head coach Telma Hall said. “UAB had great pitching against us to shut us out in game two. Bailey and Destyni pitched well today, going the distance in game two to keep the game close.”
