“This was another day that, we didn't play to our advantage,” head coach Hall said.  “We had runners in position in the first game against Texas Southern, but we just couldn't capitalize on the opportunities.  I feel as though all my pitchers did well today especially against Southern.  Bailey Patt was able to come in the game at the top of the seventh inning a hold Southern.  I am proud of the girls I just think that we need to take advantage of situations when we can.”

The Lady Hornets will return to play on Sunday for the final day of the round up.  The first pitch is set for 10 a.m. as the Lady Hornets will face Grambling State.  The next game is set for 12:30 and they will take on the Golden Lions of Arkansas Pine Bluff.
