Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 On the second day of the Tangi Tourism Lion Classic the Lady Hornets started off the day facing the Buffalo Bulls then ending it against Nicholls State

Starting off a game that seemed closely matched until the Lady Hornets took a 3-0 lead in the top of the fourth. Megan Dixon reached on a fielder's choice which scored Valerie Centeno. Buffalo answered back in the bottom of the fourth inning with a single run. No runs were scored in the fifth inning, but in the sixth inning the Bulls scored three runs and taking a 4-3 lead for the win.

In the second game of the day Alabama State fell 9-1 to the Nicholls State Colonels. The Colonels took an early 6-0 lead in the first inning on a three run hometown, a runner scored on a wild pitch and a two run home run. They scored a run in the second and two in the third to give them a 9-0 lead. The Hornets only run came in the bottom of the fifth when Rachel Mills hit a ground ball to second and was out at first while Jazmin Romero scored.
 
The Lady Hornets will play their last game tomorrow against Southeastern Louisiana before heading home to get ready to host the Hornet Invitational.
