Hornets Lose At Florida A&M

Box Score  TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Alabama State baseball team lost to Florida A&M 4-3 Wednesday night at Moore-Kittles Field.
 
Alabama State (28-14) led 3-0 after three innings, but Florida A&M (16-21) rallied with three runs in the middle innings, and scored the winning run on a throwing error in the eighth.
 
The Hornets scored in the second. Dexter Price doubled with one out, and with two outs, advanced to third on a wild pitch. Einar Muniz singled through the right side to score Price for a 1-0 Alabama State lead.
 
In the third, Waldyvan Estrada singled to center field. With one out, Richard Gonzalez homered to left field, his second of the season, to give the Hornets a 3-0 lead.
 
Estrada and Marrero each had two hits, and Gonzalez two RBI for the Alabama State, which plays the final game of the two-game series Thursday at 1 p.m. Bamastatesports.com will have a live internet radio broadcast.
