The Alabama State soccer team will host USC-Upstate Friday, August 29 at the ASU Soccer Complex. The match is slated for 7 p.m.

The Lady Hornets (1-2) last played a match on Tuesday against Troy falling to the Trojans 6-0. Senior goalkeeper Kylee Hathaway had 16 saves in the match getting the shutout loss.
We have to continue to get stronger in the backfield," Head coach Jodie Smith said. "Our transition is another key component that we have to work".

USC-Upstate (0-2) was defeated 1-0 by the UNC-Ashville this past Sunday at County University Stadium. 
"We are looking forward to seeing how the ladies respond after playing our first couple of matches," stated Coach Smith "My coaching staff and I want to see can the ladies make the adjustments that we've worked on throughout the week."
