Gianna Guyot secured another shutout for the Lady Hornets as ASU came up with its third consecutive shutout and fifth in their last six matches.

"Gianna had another good performance in goal and had another clean sheet," Smith added.

The win was ASU's third consecutive conference win and ran their overall record to 5-8-1. In conference action ASU now stands in second place with a 5-1 record.

ASU will travel to Itta Bena, Miss., for a Sunday afternoon date with SWAC-leading Mississippi Valley State. The Lady Devils remain undefeated in conference play with a 4-0-1 record. The winner of Sunday's contest will be all alone in first place. The match is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
