The Alabama State bowling team will bring home the 2015 Fourth Annual Wildcat Invitational crown as they went 13-0 over the weekend at the Sunshine Bowling Lanes in Deland, Fla.
 
The Lady Hornets finished the day with wins over host team Bethune-Cookman (901-807), Southern (782-610) and ranked NTCA team Tulane (1165-1051) to win the honor of champions.  Alabama State finished with a total pin fall of 8,826.
 
The Green Wave (Tulane) finished second (7-6) in the invitational with a total pin fall of 8,669.  UAB and Florida A&M finished in the middle of the pack tied with a 6-7 record.  UAB finished with a total pin fall of 8684, while Florida A&M tallied a 8376 pin count.  Bethune and Southern rounded out the six team field with a fifth and sixth finish.  Bethune had an overall record of 4-9 and a total pin count of 8.744.  Southern ended the tourney with a total pin count of 7,956 and a 3-10 overall record.
 
The Lady Hornets will return back to the Lanes February 20-22 for the East SWAC Round up in Gulfport, Miss.
