Kourtney Berry leads the ASU group being named the SWAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.  He is joined on the Defensive First Team by linebacker teammate Daerius Washington.  Damian Love is another Hornet named to the First Team, as he is the lone representative on the First-Team Offense list.
 
DeMario Bell and Jylan Ware were named to the Second Team on Offense and punt returner Khalid Thomas was named to the Defensive Second Team.
 
The Hornets report to camp Tuesday, August 4, with the first practice on Wednesday August 5 to begin preparations for the 2015 season.
