MONTGOMERY, ALA. | The Alabama State Bowling team is set to compete in its third tournament of the fall this weekend at The Sonic Boom Invitational in Jackson, Miss.

The field will be comprised of one Conference USA school (Louisiana Tech) while the rest of the teams hail from the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), including host Jackson State. Alabama A&M, Grambling State, Prairie View A&M, Southern and Texas Southern will also join Alabama State in the tournament.

The Lady Hornets have picked up 10 wins so far in 2018, including eight against the competition they will see once again this weekend.

The Lady Hornets will begin first roll Friday with a five-game bakers' match and continue Saturday at 9:35 with traditional play.  The teams will conclude on Sunday with an 8:25 start in a best of four of seven games.
