D'IBERVILLE, Miss. | Alabama State finished with three victories in four matches on the second day Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) East Roundup Saturday afternoon.
 
Alabama State (55-29, 14-6 SWAC) opened the day with a 990-845 victory over Southern, before winning their second match 1,106-943 over Texas Southern. The Lady Hornets fell to Prairie View A&M 1,134-988 in the third match of the day, before closing out the day with a 893-7564 victory over Alabama A&M.
 
Alabama State is one game back of Texas Southern in the loss column in the conference standings and sits behind Jackson State and Prairie View A&M in the conference standings. The Lady Hornets are second in total pins at 22,045 and are averaging 183.7 per game.
