LORMAN, Miss.| Alabama State was originally set to conclude the regular season Thursday with a single game on the road, however, due to weather that affected conference games the Lady Hornets will make up a game Tuesday afternoon at Alcorn State.

Alabama State and Alcorn State are deadlocked atop the conference standings with identical 9-5 records, and are tied with Alabama A&M with whom the Lady Hornets will make up their series this weekend on the road.

Game time for Tuesday against Alcorn State is set for 3 pm.

The two teams met in April, splitting a doubleheader, before the third game of the series was affected by weather. Alabama State won the opener 4-1, before falling late in the nightcap 2-1. Alabama State comes off a series win over Jackson State this past weekend, winning the finale with a walk-off home run off the bat of
Natalia Rivera.

Kaylee Davis leads the team in hitting at .333 with 30 runs scored, while
Casey Durham is hitting .304 with a pair of home runs and 17 runs batted in.
Hailey Walker is hitting .302 with 22 runs batted in, and is tied for the team lead with three home runs. Meanwhile,
Justine Jean (9-9, 7.92 ERA) leads the team with 121.2 innings pitched in 29 appearances, with 21 starts. She has also recorded 79 strikeouts.

Charlene Castro (3-3, 6.99 ERA) has recorded a pair of complete games with a save, while
Skyler Sullivan (5-9, 7.15 ERA) has logged 73 innings this season.

The game is the first of five to conclude the regular season for Alabama State.
