Quotable from Alabama State head coach, Andrew Chatmon
"It was a rough day Saturday. We caught a few bad breaks, but overall, we just need to do a better job of executing. We were able to pick up a pair of wins over SWAC opponents, but dropped some tough ones, including to Jackson State."
