MONTGOMERY, Ala. | After a third-place finish at the SWAC East Roundup, Alabama State returns to action this weekend at the Mid-Winter Classic hosted by Arkansas State.
Teams that will be at the competition, including Alabama State, are Arkansas State, Grambling State, Lincoln Memorial, McKendree, UAB, Upper Iowa, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin Whitewater, Youngstown, Alabama A&M, Drury, Jackson State, Louisiana Tech, Marville, Nebraska, Sam Houston, Stephen F Austin, and Tulane.
The tournament will be comprised of a three-day schedule and lane draws will be determined randomly in the coaches' meeting on Friday morning. The entire tournament will be scratch and will be based on match wins and losses. Teams will compete in five-game Baker matches on Friday, followed by five traditional game matches on Saturday. The teams will then be seeded based on total pins for the racket round on Sunday, which will be three Baker best of seven games
