@BamaStateBowl Stays Undefeated at TNBA/HBCU Invitational

ATLANTA | Alabama State remained undefeated in their second day of competition in the TNBA/HBCU Invitational, extending their win streak to 10 games.
 
Alabama State (65-56) began the second day of play with a strong win against Virginia Union, winning soundly by a score of 914-754. In their second match of the day, they matched up against Norfolk State, defeating them 921-749. Following that game, they bested Virginia State, coming out on top by a score of 936-881. However, that would be their last game bowling over 900 pins, as they finished out their 10-game streak defeating Fayetteville State (883-781) and Bethune-Cookman (899-756).
 
In the Sunday Championship bracket, the second-seeded Hornets will face off against top-seeded Florida A&M Rattlers. Florida A&M has three of its players at the first three spots of the individual standings. Alabama State has two players, Gabby Hosein and Alize Stevenson, in the top 15 of individual standings at 9th and 13th respectively.
 
Alabama State has amassed a total pinfall of 9,396 and averages 187.9 pins per game, second only behind Florida A&M.
