MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Just one week after finishing ninth in New Orleans (La.), Alabama State returns to action this weekend at the Rattler Invitational hosted by Florida A&M.
Alahna DeGruy (Kenner, La.), who led Alabama State last week earning All-Tournament honors by finishing third as an individual with an average of 224.60 and 1,123 total pins, will lead Alabama State into this weekend's tournament.
Lyric O'Steen (Southfield, Mich.) finished 14th overall last week with an average of 211.60 and 1,058 pins.
Bailee Chapman (Gonzales, La.) and
Savanna Razor (Columbia, S.C.) will also lead the Lady Hornets this weekend after top-30 finishes last week.
This weekend's tournament will feature a three-day schedule with pools and lane draws determined at the Friday morning coaches meeting. Teams will compete in Baker matches on Friday, followed by five traditional matches on Saturday.
The final day of the tournament, Sunday, will feature bracket play in a best of seven series.
