MONTGOMERY, Ala. |Â Alabama State picked up two more wins in the ISTAP Hornet Classic on Saturday at Bowlero and currently sits in fourth place with six wins and three losses so far on the weekend.
Alabama State (38-23) began the day with wins against Tusculum by a score of 901-786 and Southern 1008-842 before falling to Tusculum and Emmanuel College to close out day two.
With the 2-2 split, the Hornets are currently fourth in the standings with 8,918 pins just behind UAB.
Lyric O'Steen (Southfield, Mich.) leads Alabama State so far with 960 total pins for an average of 192, good for sixth place.
Bailee Chapman (Gonzales, La.),
Savanna Razor (Columbia, S.C.) and
Alahna DeGruy (Kenner, La.) are currently 17-19 with Chapman averaging 179.40, Razor 178.80 and Degruy at 176.40.
