MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State had its doubleheader against Samford, scheduled for Wednesday, postponed due to the winter weather affecting portions of Alabama this week.

The games will be moved to March 23 in Birmingham.

Alabama State returns to action this weekend, hosting the Black & Gold Tournament that features Alabama A&M, Evansville, Grambling State, Middle Tennessee, and UT-Martin. The tournament will be carried by the Hornet Sports Network beginning Friday.

Only those listed on the player pass list will be allowed inside the Barbara Williams Softball Complex this season due to social distant seating and COVID-19 protocols. No tickets will be sold at any time for the venue, and masks are mandatory while visiting the Alabama State University campus and its athletic venues.
