MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State will host their second consecutive tournament at the Barbara Williams Softball Complex, playing host to four teams at the Black & Gold Tournament beginning Friday.

Alabama State opens play in the tournament against Alabama A&M Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm, a tournament that will also feature Evansville and UT-Martin. The tournament begins at 1 pm Friday with three games scheduled, followed by a four-game day on Saturday beginning at 10 am, before ending on Sunday with one game.

The tournament will be carried by the Hornet Sports Network beginning Friday.

Only those listed on the player pass list will be allowed inside the Barbara Williams Softball Complex this season due to social distant seating and COVID-19 protocols. No tickets will be sold at any time for the venue, and masks are mandatory while visiting the Alabama State University campus and its athletic venues.

3:30 pm – Alabama State vs. Alabama A&M
6 pm – UT-Martin vs. Alabama A&M

Saturday, February 20
10 am – Alabama A&M vs. UT-Martin
12:30 pm – Evansville vs. UT-Martin
3 pm – Alabama State vs. Alabama A&M
5:30 pm – Alabama State vs. Evansville

Sunday, February 21
10 am – Alabama State vs. Evansville
