MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State's softball game on Tuesday at Jacksonville State has been postponed due to the forecast of rain, along with the contest against Auburn on Wednesday. 
 
The Gamecocks and Hornets were scheduled to play at 5 p.m. at University Field in a game that was scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN+, but the forecast for rain and possible thunderstorms throughout the day forced team officials to postpone the game. They two teams will work to find a replacement date later in the season if possible.

Alabama State and Auburn were scheduled to play Wednesday night in Auburn, but the forecast for severe weather forced that game to be postponed.

Alabama State will host Texas Southern this weekend with Saturday's game featured on ESPNU.
