MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State continues their home stand this week as they look to gain two wins against Florida A&M at the Barbara Williams Softball Complex on Wednesday afternoon.
First pitch for game one is scheduled for 3 pm, and attendance inside the facility is limited to those on the Player Pass List due to COVID-19 protocols and socially distant seating. Concessions will be available inside the facility and will remain cashless, and Alabama State is a mask-mandatory campus including all of its athletic venues.
Freshman
Jaeda Gardner leads the Hornets at the plate thus far, hitting .333 with 19 hits, eight runs scored along with five RBI.
Kindall DeRamus has recorded 17 hits on the year to go with 10 runs scored and eight RBI, while four other Lady Hornets have at least 10 hits and seven RBI as well.
Skyler Sullivan (6-7) leads Alabama State in the circle with a 4.58 earned run average and 39 strikeouts on the year.
