UP NEXT
Alabama State returns to action on Saturday afternoon in their third consecutive game at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome, facing Alabama A&M with tip set for 4:30 pm. All fans entering the arena must provide a negative COVID test within 72 hours and must wear masks at all times.

QUOTES from head coach Mo Williams
"They brought it to us, I thought they were the tougher team. That is their identity and they beat us at their game today. That is something we have to bounce back from, and I think we will."

"The first half, it was the way we wanted it. It was a low-scoring game, and we are okay with that because we feel like we can score the ball. Our biggest thing is getting stops and we did a good job on the defensive end, they got it going a little bit in the second half which the stats really don't show. We just have to do a better job of executing right now, and I have to figure that ball out."

"The most important game is coming up and it's because it is the next game, added flavor to it because it is Alabama A&M obviously. We are ready for the challenge. They are a good basketball team, and we will be prepared. Hopefully this week is a good week for us getting some guys back."
