D'IBERVILLE, Miss. |Â The Alabama State bowling team completed the weekend of Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) competition with a 10-4 record to finish for second in the regular season standings.
Alabama State (59-33, 19-9 SWAC) began the day by falling to SWAC regular season champion Prairie View A&M by a score of 1,029-957 before beating Grambling State (974-710) for the second time of the weekend. The Hornets fell to Southern in their third match 938-918 and concluded the day by defeating Florida A&M in the final match 1020-869.

Savanna Razor (Columbia, S.C.) ended the weekend with a third-place finish in the individual standings with 2,938 total pins for an average of 209.8 per game, while
Alahna DeGruy (Kenner, La.) finished sixth with 2,806 pins for an average of 200.4 per game.

Bailee Chapman (Gonzales, La.) earned a 13th-place finish (2,672 total pins / 190.8 average), followed by
Lyric O'Steen (Southfield, Mich.) a spot behind in 14th (2,667 total pins / 190.8 average). Meanwhile,
Emani Davis (Flushing, Mich.) landed just outside the top-25 with 2,262 total pins and a 188.5 average.

Alabama State will return to competition with the Mid-Winter Classic beginning on Friday, February 18 in Jonesboro, Arkansas hosted by Arkansas State.
