MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State looks to rebound this week after a series loss over the weekend in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play, traveling to Atlanta to face Georgia State with first pitch scheduled for 5 pm.
Alabama State (16-21) has dropped back-to-back conference series to Alabama A&M and Mississippi Valley State. The two teams have met just one time in school history with Georgia State winning 6-0 in Atlanta back on April 12, 2016.

- Alabama State has dropped six of their last eight games including a pair of games against nationally ranked opponents Alabama and Auburn in mid-week action.
- Kindall DeRamus (Helena, Ala.) leads Alabama State at the plate, hitting .416 with 52 hits on the season. She has also scored 33 runs, driven in 19 others, and stolen 27 bases (in 31 attempts). Jazmine Dodd (Bentonville, Ark.) is hitting .383 with 19 runs scored and 17 RBI, while also connecting for six doubles.
