MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State will participate in their fourth meet in as many weekends when they hit the road to Auburn for the War Eagle Invitational beginning on Friday afternoon. The Hornets will run in their third consecutive SEC venue after the Bulldog Relays (Mississippi State) and Pepsi Relays (Florida).
The meet will feature several teams from the southeast and around the country including Auburn (host), Alabama-Huntsville, Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Chattanooga, Columbia, Christian Brothers, Georgia Tech, Harvard, Holy Cross, Indiana State, Indiana Tech, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, New Orleans, North Georgia (women only), Northwestern State, Rowan, Samford, Southern Miss, Syracuse, Tennessee, Troy, Tulane (women only), UAB (women only), and Yale.
Competition begins at 2 pm on Friday (April 15) with the women's hammer throw and will roll throughout the day with the final event scheduled at 8:05 pm (men's 5000 meters). The meet will continue Saturday (April 16) with the women's pole vault at 11 am and will roll throughout the day with the final event – men's 4x400-meter relay – beginning at 4:35 pm.
