MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Alabama State freshman Daedrian Beville has qualified for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, earning the opportunity to compete in the women's triple jump at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. In her first collegiate season, Beville has established herself as one of the nation's top competitors in the triple jump. Through consistent performances and unwavering dedication, she earned a place among the NCAA's elite and will represent Alabama State on collegiate track and field's biggest stage.
"Day one, when I met Daedrian and her family, I knew she was different," said Alabama State assistant coach Ehad Beene. "This is her moment because she worked hard to get to Eugene, Oregon." Beville credits her success to the work she has put in throughout the season and remains focused on the challenge ahead. "I've come too far to settle for less; the work continues," Beville said. Her qualification is the culmination of countless hours of training and preparation, a journey that has impressed both coaches and teammates throughout her freshman campaign.
"Daedrian is the epitome of focus, humility, hard work, and perseverance," said jumps coach Jonathan Alexis. "She has executed at an extremely high level on and off the track as a true freshman. I am very proud of her progress thus far." Beville will travel to Eugene, Oregon, to compete against the nation's best in the women's triple jump as she looks to cap off a remarkable freshman season with a standout performance at the NCAA Championships.
