ITTA BENA, Miss. | The remainder of the Alabama State-Mississippi Valley State series has been postponed due to weather on Saturday and will resume at a later date. The series was in game two on Friday night with Alabama State leading 11-4 in the top of the seventh inning before a lighting issue caused the game to be suspended.
Alabama State returns to action on Tuesday (April 19) on the road at Auburn with first pitch scheduled for 6 pm before a three-game road Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) series at Jackson State beginning on Friday (April 22).
