JACKSON, Miss. | The remainder of the Alabama State-Jackson State series has been suspended due to weather in the Jackson (Miss.) area on Saturday afternoon. The two teams will resume play on Wednesday (April 20) with a time to be determined.
The teams will resume play in the top of the 10th inning with the scored tied at 4-all in game two before playing the final game of the three-game series approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the first game. With the change in schedule for the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) series, Alabama State will not travel to Orangeburg (S.C.) to play South Carolina State originally scheduled as a doubleheader on Tuesday (April 19).
