JACKSON, Miss. | The remainder of the Alabama State-Jackson State series that was suspended over the weekend will resume play on Wednesday (April 20) beginning at 1 pm. The series will resume with the game tied at 4-all in game and will be completed with game three of the series following completion of the suspended game.
Alabama State (16-23, 8-8 SWAC) sits a game back of Jackson State (18-20, 9-7 SWAC) in fourth place in the East Division standings and is two games back in the win column of Florida A&M. The Hornets have just two conference series remaining against Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M on the season while sitting one game ahead of Mississippi Valley State in the standings.
