MONTGOMERY, Ala. | For the second consecutive game, 
Kendal Parker turned in a career performance leading Alabama State to its third consecutive victory 80-60 over MUW at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome on Sunday.
 
Parker finished the night with a career-high 18 points off the bench just eight days after setting a new career-high against Merrimack. He finished 5-of-9 from the floor including three three-points and knocked down 5-of-8 from the free throw line. He also grabbed four rebounds and dished out a pair of assists.
 
The sophomore led four different players in different players in double figures including reigning Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Player of the Week 
TJ Madlock with 15 points and a pair of steals. 
Isaiah Range finished with 12 and 
Amarr Knox 10 off the bench for Alabama State (4-4) in the win.
 
Dariun Doss paced four MUW players in double figures with 12.
 
How It Happened
	- Alabama State ended the night shooting 42.4 (28-of-66) percent from the floor and 37.0 (10-of-27) percent from beyond the arc. They also converted on 73.7 (14-of-19) percent of their free throws.
- The Hornets held MUW to 37.9 (22-of-58) percent shooting from the floor and 37.0 (10-of-27) percent from beyond the arc.
- Alabama State outrebounded MUW 41-34 and forced 17 turnovers to just nine committed by the Hornets.
- After MUW trimmed the lead to 45-42 with 17:21 to play, Alabama State went on a 10-0 run over the next four minutes to take a 55-42 lead with 13:35 to play. They were able to grow the lead to 21 just three minutes later.
Alabama State Notes
	- For the second consecutive, Parker set a career-high in points. He topped the mark of 12 he scored against Merrimack last Saturday. His five field goals also set a new career-high for the sophomore.
- CJ Hines finished with six points, the first time he has not scored in double figures this season, but added five assists that led to 12 points for the Hornets.
- Range scored in double figures for the third time in four games since his return.
- Alabama State won every major statistical category including points in the paint (32-16) and fast break points (27-5).
