BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alabama State's Alex Preston and Bailee Greenlee for Softball Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances during this past week of non-conference play.
 
Hitter of the Week
Preson drove in eight runs while batting .308 through five games during this past week of competition. She drove in a season-high four runs and hit a home run during ASU's win over Southern. Preson also had a home run and four RBI in two games versus Arlington Baptist.
 
Pitcher of the Week
Greenlee went 2-1 in three starts during this past week of competition. She posted a season-high nine strikeouts in a complete-game win against. She also struck out six batter during ASU's game versus Arlington Baptist.
