@BamaStateBowl Tied After Day One of the SWAC Round Up II

 Alabama State University women's bowling stands in a three-way tie for first place with a 4-1 record after day one of the SWAC Round Up II. 
 
 The Lady Hornets are tied with Alabama A&M and Southern University while totaling 4,729 pins and a 190.0 average on the day. 
 
Alabama State defeated Prairie View A&M 936-916 to open the day before falling to Southern University 869-852 in the second match. The Lady Hornets claimed three straight wins to closeout the day, defeating Grambling State (962-662), Florida A&M (1052-1,000) and Jackson State (947-929). 
 
Savanna Razor had 1,149 pin falls for an average game of 229.8 sit on top individual standings. Lyric O'Steen joined Razor in the top 10 in ninth place with 938 pins and 187.6 average game. Emani Davis in 18th with 866 pins and a 173.2 norm followed by Bailee Chapman in 26th 739 pins and a 184.75 average. Alahna Degruy is 34th with 553 pins for a 184.3 average whil Zoe Moore sits in 37th with a 5-4 points and a 178.43 average.
 
The overall SWAC Round up I and II standings has Southern University in first with a 14-5 mark while the Lady Hornets tied for second with Texas Southern with a 12-7 mark. Prairie View A&M is fourth (11-8) followed by Jackson State and Alabama A&M (9-10), Florida A&M (8-11) and Grambling State (1-18).
 
 Day two of the SWAC Round Up II begins with warmups at 9:30 a.m.
