@BamaStateBowl Finish Second In SWAC Regular Season

D'ILBERVILLE, Miss. | The Alabama State University women's bowling went 3-1 on day three of the SWAC Round Up II to finish the weekend with a 10-4 record.
 
The Lady Hornets finished 18-10 overall to finish second in the regular season as Southern University, which went 20-8 over the two SWAC Round Ups. Prairie View (17-11) claimed third and Texas Southern (16-12) was fourth overall. Florida A&M and Jackson State tied with
identical 14-14 records followed by Alabama A&M (12-16) and Grambling State (1-27). 
 
Alabama State won three-of-four matches on the final day, taking a 984-898 win over Florida A&M to open the morning. The Lady Hornets then defeated Jackson State 865-789 and Alabama A&M 932-807. ASU stumbled in the final match of the day, falling to Texas Southern 955-877.  
 
Savanna Razor claimed the top spot in the SWAC individual regular season standings with a 214.33 average while Lyric O'Steen took fourth with a 198.74 average. Alahna Degruy finished 10th with a 191.82 norm while Bailee Chapman was 12th with 187.23. Emani Davis finished with a 175.31 followed by Zoe Moore with a 175.28 average.
   
The SWAC return to the lanes SWAC Bowling Championships on Feb. 24-26 in Arlington, Texas.
