HOW IT HAPPENED
- Samanatha Kelly reached on fielder's choice with the bases loaded to give Bethune Cookman and 1-0 lead the first inning.
- Alex Preston's solo home run tied the game 1-1 in the fourth inning.
- A bases loaded walk in the bottom of the fourth put the Wildcats up 2-1.
- Alexia Denby gave Alabama State a 4-2 lead with a three-run round-tripper in the top of the fifth.
- Bethune-Cookman tied the game 4-4 on an Essence Gibbs RBI double in the seventh to force extra innings.
- Cierra Clark delivered the game winning RBI single in the bottom of the eighth.

- Bailey Greenlee (10-7) gave up five runs, four earned, on five hits with 10 walks and two strikeouts to take the loss for Alabama State.
- Victoria Guzman (2-9) tossed 4.0 innings, allowing one run, one earned on four this with five strikeouts to earn the win.

- Denby's home run was her SWAC leading 11th of the season and took over the SWAC lead with 34 RBI.
- Preston's round tripper in the first inning was her sixth of the season.
