BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alabama State's Kindall DeRamus and Bailey Greenlee for SWAC Softball Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances during this past week of conference play.
 
Hitter of the Week
DeRamus helped lead the Lady Hornets to a 3-1 week, including a win over Georgia Tech in the midweek before capturing their series against AAMU. She hit .667 from the leadoff spot, going 8-for-12 with six runs scored, a double, three RBI, and three stolen bases. DeRamus went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored in the 6-4 win over GT. She hit .667 (6-for-9) with a double, two runs scored, two RBI, and two steals in the AAMU series. She went 2-for-3 in the game two win and 3-for-3 with two RBI and a double in the series-clinching win.

Pitcher of the Week
Greenlee helped the Lady Hornets to a 3-0 week, including a 6-4 win over Georgia Tech before capturing two wins in the AAMU series. She worked 5.0 innings, allowing three runs on three hits with one strikeout against Georgia Tech. Greenlee tossed 15.0 innings during the Alabama A&M Series going 2-0 with 24 strikeouts while allowing two runs on six hits. She allowed one run on four hits with nine strikeouts in game two and tossed 4.0 scoreless innings with eight strikeouts in the series-clinching win.
