MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State University's Kindall DeRamus and Bailey Greenlee nabbed National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region Third-Team honors announced on Friday.

DeRamus adds the honor to a list which includes SWAC Player and Hitter of the Year and First-Team All-SWAC along with two SWAC Hitter of the Week award. Additionally, she was named the 2023 Preseason Player of the Year and First-Team All-SWAC after earning First-Team All-SWAC and Player of the Year laurels in 2022. DeRamus leads the conference in on base percentage (.513/16th NCAA); hits (64), runs scored (47), and walks (35) while ranking second in stolen bases (44/6th NCAA), stolen bases per game (0.894th NCA and at bats (149). The Helena, Ala., native is third in the SWAC in batting average (.404) and RBI (34), seventh in OPS (1.012); second in triples (5).

Greenlee was named to the All-SWAC First-Team and was honored as the SWAC Pitcher of the Year. Greenlee has had a banner season in the circle, posting an 19-8 record with a 3.02 ERA, earning SWAC Pitcher of the Week two times this season. The Snohomish, Wash., native was a 2022 Second-Team All-SWAC and a 2023 Preseason All-SWAC honoree. Greenlee is tied for first in the SWAC in saves (4/25th NCAA) and leads the SWAC in wins (19/29th NCAA), and strikeouts/7 innings (6.8). She ranks second in the SWAC in strikeouts looking (43) and innings pitched 155.1, second in opponent batting average (.223), and fifth in ERA (2.23). Greenlee posted a season-high 14 strikeouts against South Carolina State in the HBCU Celebration Classic.
