LOUISVILLE, Ky. | A trio of indoor school records fell on the opening day of the 2024 Rod McCravey Memorial Track and Field Meet at the Norton Sports & Learning Center on Friday.

Quincy Penn set a new indoor school record on the women's side in the 300-meters with a time of 38.86 seconds, while
Jamarion Stubbs set a new school record in a pair of events. Stubbs set a new indoor school record in the 60-meter prelims with a time of 6.61Â and set a new indoor school record and claimed the meet championship in a time of 20.83 seconds.

Several other student-athletes set personal bests on the opening day of the meet including
Shamia Jones in the 600-meters with a time of 1:33.48.
Jaqual Bush also set a personal best, running a time of 24.21 seconds in the 200-meters.

On the men's side,
Amos Beadle set a personal best in the 600-meters at 1:20.64, while
Justus Trainer set a personal best in the 200-meters at 21.18 seconds.
