MONTGOMERY, Ala. |  Ashley Milton Buford joined the Hornet Sports Properties team at Alabama State University (ASU) as the Director of Sales in September 2024.  At ASU, Buford will work in corporate sponsorships, fulfillment, and sponsorship activations for ASU Athletics.  

Buford is a native of Montgomery, AL, and has deep family ties to ASU as her mother and sister both hold graduate degrees from ASU. She is honored to be a part of Hornet Nation.

Buford brings a wealth of experience to the team, having previously served as an Account Executive at WSFA 12 News and Spectrum Reach advertising agency.  

Buford graduated from Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree in Speech Communications in 2007.  She is not only a professional but also a proud parent, nurturing three beautiful children: London, Mason, and Joanna.
