Box Score 2 ATLANTA, Ga. | Alabama State dropped a pair of games at the HBCU Collegiate Softball Tournament on Saturday including an 8-6 game to North Carolina A&T in the nightcap.

Jaeda Gardner, and
Brooke Ramsey each collected a pair of hits for Alabama State against North Carolina A&T.
Ashley Pye suffered the loss after getting the start working just 0.2 innings and allowing five runs off three hits.
Charity Bibbs, the third of three pitchers, went 5.0 innings in relief for Alabama State allowing just one run (unearned) on three hits.

Alabama State (2-6) also dropped a 2-1 game to Howard earlier in the day.

How It Happened (North Carolina A&T)
- (T1) Alyxx Estrada scored on a passed ball to give the Aggies the early lead before Shandi Brown scored on an RBI groundout. The inning continued when Joey Barkhimer scored on a double to center before a pair of runs scored on a fielder's choice, North Carolina A&T 5-0.
- (B1) DeRamus scored the Lady Hornets' first run on an RBI groundout by Alana Scott before Smiley scored on a wild pitch. The Lady Hornets added another run on a Ramsey triple to score Leah Richardson before she scored on a sacrifice fly, North Carolina A&T 5-4.
- (T2) North Carolina A&T added a pair of runs on a two-run double by Barkhimer, North Carolina A&T 7-4.
- (B2) DeRamus drove in Gardner with a single to right, North Carolina A&T 7-5.
- (T3) Estrada scored on an infield error after a pair of stolen bases, North Carolina A&T 8-5.
- (B4) Mickey Coslor scored on an infield single by Smiley, North Carolina A&T 8-6.
