BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Alabama State baseball team qualified as the No. 3 seed from the SWAC East Division and will match up with the No. 2 seed from the SWAC West Division, Grambling State.

The Hornets completed the regular season with a 28-25 record and an 18-12 mark in conference play.

The two teams met earlier this season in the Andre Dawson Classic and the Hornets won 5-4 in 10 innings.
